Brookfield fell to visiting Macon in both ends of a hoops doubleheader.
The Lady Tigers cruised to a 62-32 victory in the opener, and the Tigers outlasted the Bullodogs in the nightcap, 53-33. Emree Littrell scored six points and had two steals, while Jerzi Fields (3 rebounds, block) and Emma Meyer (rebound, block) each scored five points, and Maggie Bennett (4 rebounds, assist, steal) and Greenlee McCollum (3 rebounds, 2 assists, steal) had four points apiece. Breckin Thudium (5 rebounds) and Sam Sharp (4 rebounds, assist, steal) each had three points, and Gracyn Beckman (3 rebounds) added two points for the Lady Bulldogs. The Bulldogs were in the boys game through the first three quarters, trailing by only six at the half and 10 after three quarters. However, the Tigers pulled away with a 16-6 run in the final eight minutes. Hayden DeJong (2 rebounds, assist) posted 18 points, and freshman Alex Bennett (3 rebounds) scored seven points.
