Bennett, Bulldogs Top Leaderboard

Maggie Bennett captured medalist honors, guiding Brookfield to a team victory in Tuesday's varsity golf tri-match at the Riverside Country Club in Trenton. Bennett carded a 46, including a par on the par-3 seventh hole, over the nine-hole, par-36 course.

The Lady Bulldogs, who fired a team total 221, outdistanced runner-up Trenton (232) by 11 strokes and Marceline (252) by 31 shots.

Kierstyn Sutch and Lexi Littrell each shot 58, while Riley Howell had a 59, including a par on the 8th hole. Madalynn Williams finished with a 68.
