Clara Hoyt captured conference podium honors in two events in yesterday's Clarence Cannon Conference Meet at Monroe City. She ran a season best and personal record in the 1600, finishing 3rd, in a close sprint for 2nd, in 5:50.17, and she recorded a season best in the 3200, also finishing 3rd, in 13:19.38.
Kylin King was 5th in the 400 (1:04.7) and 6th in the 200 (29.05). Jayden Keller was 8th in a season best 29.42 in the 200 and was 9th in the 400, and Breckin Thudium had a season best heave in shot put (8.13m) and was 10th in discus. Maggie Bennett (8th - 100 Hurdles; 9th -300 Hurdles), Austin Lewis (8th - Long Jump), Lily Willis (9th - Javelin) and Lilly Lindsay (10th - Shot) also recorded top-10 results. The 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 finished 6th, 7th and 7th, respectively. Bridger Grimshaw was 4th in pole vault (3.2m) and 7th in the 300 hurdles, while Siope Pulu was 5th in javelin (39.86m) and 9th in shot put. Calvin Varner ran a season best in the 400 (1:02.97), and the 4x200 (1:41.61) and 4x400 (3:51.64) relay teams also ran season bests. Kameron Perry (7th - Triple Jump), Coldon Parrent (8th - 300 Hurdles), Wyatt Garber (8th - Triple Jump), Maksim Kerns (9th - Discus) and Aidden Buckner (10th - 100) collected top-10 finishes.
