Calvin Varner and Clara Hoyt had impressive showings in Tuesday's cross country meet held at the Salisbury Municipal Golf Course.
Varner finished 56th out of a field of 130 runners, covering the 3500-meter course in 14:12, while Hoyt was 20th in a pack of 98 with a time of 15:20.25.  Landon Stufflebean completed the course in 17:07.01, and Megan LaBelle finished in 21:06.79.
