HS Softball VS South Harrison South Harrison scored a run in the bottom of the 6th inning and held on to beat Brookfield, 6-5, in varsity softball. The Bulldogs tied the game with Ashlyn Calvert's two-out single, scoring Mya Sackrey. However, South Harrison answered in the bottom of the frame and silenced the Lady 'Dogs in the 7th. Hadlye Sackrey's two-run single keyed a three-run first for Brookfield, but South Harrison responded with three runs in its half of the inning. Calvert added a walk, while Mya (3B, BB, HBP, SB) had a hit and scored another run. Hadlye added a second base hit. Emree Littrell (2B, 3B, SB) also had two hits and scored two runs. Austin Lewis (1B, SB, run), Emma Sensenich (2B, BB, RBI) and Greenlee McCollum (1B, RBI) each had a hit for the 'Dogs. The JV Lady Dogs also dropped a 6-5 decision, as South Harrison walked it off with the winning run in the bottom of the 5th. Lily Willis (2 1B, SB, RBI) led Brookfield with two hits and two runs, and Remi Berger (RBI) collected a single. Reese Neal (2 BB), Milee McCollum (BB) and Abby Rollison each scored a run.
