What's NewDr. Hoyt earned his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University in 2006, a Master of Science in Elementary Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University in 2009 and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2021. Dr. Hoyt began his educational career in 2006 as a Fourth Grade Teacher at Franklin Elementary in Liberty, MO. He continued his teaching career at Macon R-I Middle School as a Sixth Grade Language Arts Teacher in 2009. He served the Macon R-I School District as Assistant Varsity Track and Assistant Varsity Football Coach as well. In 2010 he was named PK-12 Principal and Athletic Director at Northwestern R-I. Dr. Hoyt was promoted to his current position of Superintendent of the Northwestern R-I School District in 2017. In addition to his experience as a teacher, coach, principal, athletic director and superintendent, Dr. Hoyt is a graduate of the DESE Leadership Academy and the Liberty Public Schools Leadership Academy. Dr. Hoyt resides in Brookfield with his wife Mary, and their two children, Clara and Spencer. “I am honored to return to my alma mater as Superintendent.
