Brookfield, Mo. — The Brookfield Bulldogs leaned on a bruising ground attack and a relentless defensive effort Friday night to edge Gallatin 20–15, earning their fifth win of the season and continuing a dominant midseason stretch.

Junior Coldon Parrent powered in two rushing touchdowns, while senior Kameron Perry added 105 yards and a score as Brookfield controlled the tempo from the opening series. The Bulldogs totaled 231 rushing yards on 36 carries, repeatedly chewing up the clock and wearing down Gallatin’s defense. Junior quarterback Dayten Glasgow complemented the run game, completing 6 of 8 passes for 61 yards and adding 56 yards on the ground.

Defensively, Brookfield made Gallatin earn every inch. Sophomore Rowdy Fields led the charge with 10 tackles, while Cooper Holland, Dammian Glasgow, Alex Bennett, and Weston Linscott each added eight. Up front, Holland and Perry recorded one sack apiece, and Parrent sealed the victory with a fourth-quarter interception to halt a late Gallatin rally.

After building a two-score cushion, Brookfield’s defense and special teams closed it out, forcing Gallatin deep in its own territory and managing the clock in the final minutes. The 20–15 finish marked another complete team performance and a continuation of Brookfield’s steady, physical brand of football.
