Learn about Title I services and support programs at Brookfield Middle School designed to enhance student achievement. Middle School Title I Title I was enacted to “ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and assessments”. Title I funds received by the district are utilized to support students at risk of not meeting grade-level expectations (state standards) within the Elementary and Middle School buildings. Title I programs are in place within these two buildings, with a program focus on reading. In addition, Title I funds are utilized to provide a high-quality preschool program (Bright Beginnings) to the district’s 4-year-old students, with the purpose of helping all students be more successful in kindergarten and primary grades. Program guidelines require that parents of all students within a Title I building are provided access to the documents below.
