Noah Williams' two-out, two-run double lifted Brookfield past Macon, 4-3, in yesterday's JV baseball action.
The Tigers took advantage of some miscues to grab a 3-0 first-inning lead, but the Bulldogs answered with a pair of runs in the bottom of the frame. Gage Ludington was hit by a pitch, Westen Davis singled to center, and Weston Linscott walked to load the bases. Phoenix Jordan coaxed a walk to drive in one run, and Williams was plunked to score a second run.
Linscott limited the Tigers to just one base runner in the next two innings.
With one out, Dayton Glasgow singled, and Jordan followed with a double. One out later, and the game on the line, Williams belted a double to right, plating both base runners.
Williams (2B, 3 RBI, HBP), Jordan (2B, RBI, run), Glasgow (run) and Davis (run) each had a hit, and Ludington scored a run.
Linscott allowed no earned runs on two hits and struck out four.
The JV Bulldogs welcome the Thunder tonight.
