Sharp Wins at Gans Creek

Sam Sharp captured gold in the Varsity Girls White Division at the Gans Creek Classic. Sharp raced the Gans Creek course in 19:14.9, nearly 16 seconds ahead of her next pursuer in a field of 234 runners.

Clara Hoyt was 44th in a time of 22:21.2, and Megan LaBelle came home in 31:10.

Calvin Varner continued his pursuit of breaking the 20-minute barrier, crossing the line in 20:23.8. He was 98th in the field of 213 in the Varsity Boys White Division and set a new school course record.

Landon Stufflebean finished in 26:27.4.
