Auto Mechanics I
This year-long course will offer students classroom and shop experiences. Modern tooling and testing equipment is available for study, practice and use in practical shop procedures.
I. All students will be able to recall and demonstrate safe, employable job ethics.
II. All students will diagnose and repair brake problems.
III. All students will diagnose and repair electrical problems.
IV. All students will diagnose and repair engine-related problems.
V. All students will diagnose and repair powertrain problems.
VI. All students will diagnose and repair steering and suspension problems.

- All students can diagnose and repair engine-related problems with use of service manuals and special tools.
V. All students will diagnose and repair powertrain problems.
- All students can diagnose and repair driveline in rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drive, and four-wheel drive vehicles using service manuals and special tools.
VI. All students will diagnose and repair steering and suspension problems.
- All students can diagnose and adjust steering and suspension to factory specifications with tools, service manuals and alignment rack.
Auto Mechanics II
Students will advance their knowledge in procedures and practices of automotive mechanics and repair. All training in the classroom will be supplemented by actual work experience in the shop.
